So You Need a Routine Choreographed

A Unique Approach to Having Your Floor Exercise and Balance Beam Routines Choreographed

Gymnast doing stag jump

You Need This
Some gymnasts have it harder than others do when they want to have a quality floor exercise routine choreographed.

Sometimes you may be the only one who doesn't know where to get your routine choreographed.

Local dance teachers, local choreographers don't know anything about gymnastics or routine requirements.

Even former gymnasts may not know the current routine requirements.

Some gyms have only male coaches who don't do choreography and parents have to scramble to find someone to choreograph their daughter's routines.

The quality of choreographers varies greatly and the level and detail of the choreography can be spotty.  The fine details of the choreography that make all the difference in the scores received may not be present in the routine.

Often when choreographers come in and do all of the routines for a particular gym, after a while the routines begin to look more and more similar.

Not all gymnasts learn routines quickly.  Gymnasts who tend to learn routines more slowly may not get as detailed a routine due to the time constraints of the choreographer's visit.

Avoid Rushed Routines
Choreographers usually spend only a few hours choreographing and teaching the gymnast the routine.  After they are done and leave, the gymnast may or may not remember all of the finer details of the choreography, like hand and head positions and the angle of the body, arms and legs.  Critical and helpful advice given during the routine choreography session is often forgotten.  Weeks and months later, the quality of the original choreography may have been irretrievably lost.

What's the True Cost of Your Routine?
Great choreographers do not come cheap and are often not locally available.  Usually, in addition to the cost of choreographing the routine, you have to pay at least a share of the travel expenses to bring the choreographer to your gym or to go to her gym.  If you are the only one or there are only a few of you to split the choreographer's expenses, this can double or triple the actual cost of the routine's price.

Do You Want to Sell the Routine Later?
Some parents and gymnasts try to make up for the high cost of the routine by selling the routine (usually to another lower level gymnast in their own gym) when they are ready to switch to a new routine.  But the fine details of the original choreography have often been lost or at best there is a long jumbled video of the choreography session, which may or may not be useful and certainly isn't organized for learning the routine from scratch.  So what is being sold is usually a pale version of the original routine taught by another young gymnast, not a professional choreographer.

So Why Haven't These Problems Been Solved?
Choreographers are often full-time coaches who do this part-time around the side just to earn a little extra money.  Often they do not have the audio/video computer editing knowledge, experience and software to produce a professional routine choreography and training video product. So they do things the way they have always been done.

What Would a Solution to these Problems Be Like?
You get an Elite quality floor or beam routine choreographed exclusively for your gymnast.

You are assured that all of the routine requirements have been met and put into the routine by an Elite professional coach and choreographer.

The quality and detail of the routine and the choreography are of the highest artistic level.

Have a Unique and Exclusive Routine
The routine is exclusively for your use and the choreography style is not only excellent, but won't look like any other routine on your team or in your state of region.

Learn Routine Step-by-Step
You have a video-training tool that not only allows you to review the choreography of the whole routine but teaches you step-by-step each skill and then combination in the routine.

Learn At Your Own Pace
The gymnast watches the video, right there in your own gym and practices and watches and practices and watches and learns each skill and combination fully and completely at their own pace.

Review the Routine at Any Time
This video is always available for your gymnast brush up on and review to make sure their execution is not slipping.
Parents or coaches can video the gymnast doing the routine and then gymnasts can compare themselves to the routine training video and see what they need to work on at any time of the year.

Get your Money Back
by Reselling the Routne to Another Gymnast
The routine can easily be sold the next year to another gymnast recouping most of the cost of the original choreography. They literally have everything on video that your daughter had to learn and perfect the routine.

Use the Floor Exercise and Beam
VIDEO CHOREOGRAPHY SOLUTION!
Now you can have a unique floor and/or beam routine custom choreographed by an Elite Level coach and choreographer without having to pay for them to have to come to your gym.

What Else Do You Need to Know?
To maintain a high level of quality for the choreography, we can only schedule a VERY LIMITED number of routines per month.

Routines are choreographed in the order payment (and the gymnast videos are received) is made.

Routines will normally be delivered within four to six weeks of ordering.  You will be notified if the number of routines for the current month has been exceeded

Only one CD of the floor music is provided if we provide the music. We recommend you save it as a master back-up copy and make a practice CD to use at the gym and a meet CD to take to meets.

Because we need to make sure that no gymnast ever goes to a meet and sees another gymnast doing their same routine, you are only licensed to sell this routine to another gymnast once.  As part of your agreement when you sell the routine, the gymnast you sell the routine to must also agree to sell the routine only once.

Carter's Gymastics Academy, Inc. provides you with the rights to sell any music that we provide.  Copyright law provides that if purchase the music elsewhere, anyone you sell the Video Choreography Package to will likely have to repurchase the music from the same source that you did to be in compliance with copyright laws.

If your Video Choreography Package or music CD is damaged through use, we can replace it for $9.95 including shipping and handling.

The scheduling and completion dates and shipping for all Video Choreography Packages is the sole responsibility of Erin Carter of Carter's Gymastics Academy, Inc. and not GymnasticsZone.com or Business Solutions, Inc. For any problems or questions regarding the Video Choreography Packages or music, you must contact Erin Carter at
